Axon Connect Extension Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Axon Connect browser extension ("the extension") collects and handles your data. It supplements the general Axon Privacy Policy, which applies to your Axon account and the Axon platform.

1. What the Extension Does

Axon Connect is a note-taking tool. When you click the "Save to Axon" button on a practice question page, the extension captures the content of that question — the question text, answer choices, your selected answer, the explanation, and topic labels visible on the page — and saves it to your personal Axon account so you can review it later.

2. What Data the Extension Collects

• Question content you choose to save: captured only when you click the Save button, and only from the question page you are viewing at that moment. The extension never captures pages in the background.
• An authentication token: created when you connect the extension to your Axon account. It is stored locally in your browser's extension storage and used solely to save questions to your account. You can revoke it at any time by clicking Disconnect in the extension popup.

3. What the Extension Does NOT Collect

• No browsing history, and no activity on any other website
• No keystrokes, passwords, or form entries
• No page content unless you explicitly click Save
• No cookies from other sites, and no tracking of any kind

4. Where Your Data Goes

Saved question content is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to Axon's servers and stored in your personal Axon account, exactly like a note you create on the Axon platform. It is private to your account, is never shared with other users, and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Content you save belongs to your Axon account. You can delete individual saved questions from the platform at any time, and deleting your Axon account removes your saved content. Disconnecting the extension revokes its access immediately.

6. Your Responsibility Regarding Third-Party Content

The extension saves notes on study material you access through your own subscriptions to third-party question banks. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the extension complies with the terms of service of those providers. Your saved notes are for your personal study use only.
